Singing has always featured prominently in Rob’s life, from school choirs to rock and pop groups. In the early ninety’s he decided to turn professional and spent over twelve years travelling the UK as an award-winning solo cabaret artist.
In 2006 he stumbled upon DMTC via a local performing arts website and hasn’t looked back, first performing as part of the bass chorus in the fantastic 2007 production of “Gigi” before being chosen to play the character of Bauman in the production of “Mack and Mabel“.
He also thoroughly enjoyed playing the constable in “Fiddler on the Roof“, a non singing cameo role which nevertheless gave him valuable acting experience.
He now looks forward to playing the Ghost of Christmas Present with relish, even though he knows it will be quite a challenge! “I’m so pleased to have found DMTC,” he says. “With such a great bunch of people and a fantastic production team, I consider it a real privilege just to be part of the whole set-up. It’s like a new beginning for me and I hope to gain more experience and stay involved for many years to come.”
