Wendy Hindmarch

Wendy has been dancing since the age of four and started acting in musical theatre at age 14, when she got the lead female part of Blousy Brown in “Bugsy Malone” with Spennymoor Youth Theatre Group. She then played various roles, chorus and dancer parts with youth theatres until she went to university to study dance and drama. After her degree, Wendy took a job as a cabaret singer / dancer and has sung professionally in bands for the last 14 years.

Recently Wendy retired from her role as a lead singer in a 70a cabaret show, in which she portrayed many different 70s artists – Tina Turner, Donna Summer, to name a few.

Wendy has now returned to the world of musical theatre and was delighted to play the part of Hattie in “Kiss Me, Kate
