Jade Worthy

A former National Youth Theatre student, Jade has enjoyed a varied and rich repertoire of performing experiences since first joining a youth theatre group at the age of five.

Having undertaken various roles in youth theatre and school productions, Jade found immense enjoyment in musical theatre, and although she has taken part in both backstage work and playing as part of a youth orchestra, she has always found herself migrating back to the stage.

She has provided the voice-over for a North East-wide radio advert, reaped success in various dance exams including ballet, tap and modern, and for two years was a member of St. Nicholas’ Cathedral Consort Choir in Newcastle.

Jade joined DMTC in Summer 2012 to rehearse for the 2013 production of Sweeney Todd. She has enjoyed being part of an outstanding chorus for all the shows that followed, and is elated at having been cast in Sunset Boulevard for what she hopes will be her first of many soloist roles in the society.
