Izzy Chazot

Izzy joined DMTC in 2018, as part of the chorus of ‘Kiss me, Kate’. Whilst this was her first major show, she had previously performed in choirs, orchestras and productions at school and Durham University, where she studied Zoology.

Her favourite parts have included playing Glinda in ‘The Wizard of Oz’, small Mrs Hallin ‘Fawlty Towers’ and ‘Maurice the Meerkat’ in a college pantomime. Whilst at university, she also wrote and directed a panto and sampled the world of Shakespeare, as Mustardseed in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

After finishing her degree, Izzy completed a PGCE and now shares her love for music and performing with the children in her class and school choir. She is thrilled to have been selected as a chorus principal in her second show with DMTC and can’t wait to see what her future with the society will hold!
