Synopsis
Charlie Girl is the sixth longest-running musical in London theatre history, opening act the Adelphi Theatre on December 15th 1965 and lasting for 2202 performances.
The basic story tells of the attempts to save Hadwell Hall from falling under the auctioneer’s hammer and this is combined with the love-stories of the young people living in at the hall.
