Enid Bilton-Gale

I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my hand but something so much better. The gift of a singing voice, feet that loved to dance and a passion for acting and the theatre. This opened up a life for me I would never change.

My first leading role was when I was sixteen, “Laurey” in Oklahoma and subsequently seven times more over the years. So many beautiful roles have come my way in beautiful theatres and smaller venues alike. Oratorio and the concert platform are no stranger to me either, and I believe one doesn’t just “play a part” or “sing a song” but become that person for the duration of the rehearsals and performances. To connect with your audience, to tell them your story through song, acting and dance is a wonderful thing,

I’m privileged to be one of the chorus principals for Evita and being part of DMTC once again.
